ESME HELD ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The Ethiopian Society of Mechanical Engineers (ESME) 16^th Annual Conference was held on the 13^th of November 2011 at the Addis Ababa Institute of Technology. The Society’s 2003 performance report and 2004 Activity Plan and Budget were presented and discussed. The financial position of the Society and the lack of participation of members were major issues of discussion and the need to devise sustainable income generating activities was strongly stressed.

The 16^th Conference was also the occasion of a Board and Auditor election and the 8^th Board and Auditor were handed over the leadership.
